I have been betting on the net or at land based casinos for many years. I have found out, the addiction usually will grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a profit streak. I have gone through many thousands of clams in just a short period of time and even today, I will go too long. It seems you are only enjoying yourself until you make a decision to track your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you continue telling yourself "I will be able to gain it back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you feel sick to your stomach and the harder you try the more rapidly you lose.
When you see that you are in the black, STAY on the UP! When you begin to squander, don’t inform yourself, "well only 1 more" and again and again, trust me, this plan almost never ever works. Say you plan on betting on slot machine games, keep a value separate prior to beginning your betting. DO NOT go over that threshold, no matter how appealing. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t spend your payouts at any cost. After you have gambled through your initial predetermined range, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s online or in a real life casino, don’t stick at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Obviously, this tactic can work for any game that you play, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, twenty-one or any other game.
Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be FUN not burdensome, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the hit, don’t even start.
